The MyCare telehealth application helps users connect with medical professionals. In my research I discovered the main pain points for all stakeholders to be anchored in the scheduling process. Users could choose symptoms from a simple list that the medical professional could see at the time of the appointment. Each appointment was being booked for the same length of time, and this could cause the doctors to be overwhelmed and/or be late to appointments for users.
In order to remedy these issues, I proposed that the symptoms be selected from a more user friendly interface. This information could be used to determine the length of time required with the medical professional, in 15 minute intervals. This would allow doctors to potentially see more users, have time for a small break, take notes, and be timely with appointments.
Additionally, a AR feature was added so that patients with physical maladies could upload images for medical professionals to review before appointments. These images would be stored securely and only accessible for medical professionals. The AR feature would help patients align bodily regions for optimal scans, or pin point muscular pain or issues on 3D models.
